When the breakfast aisle is filled with temptations and an abundance of sweet treats, it can be misleading. In such moments, when you can't trust your eyes, you have to trust your gut. That means choosing what is right for you and your family, opting for Weet-Bix. It's more than just a brick; it's a breakfast packed with whole grains and wheat.

In this TV commercial, we took a bit of  walk on the wild side approach with Claire Mawisa as the lead. The commercial begins in what appears to be a typical grocery store but quickly transitions into a magical journey, transporting viewers to a wheat field on a farm where our lead encounters a farmer and his scarecrow.
We then transition from the farm to a hotel scene where our lead is serving breakfast to a family. However, it's not just any breakfast; it's served through a Weet-Bix cannon, shooting out bricks of Weet-Bix.
To introduce our new Weet-Bix breakfast biscuits offerings, we transition to a medium to wide shot where our lead stands in a bus aisle, pacing towards the camera. She is now a bus conductor. In a close-up, she pulls a lever down from the ceiling, and breakfast bars drop. The camera then turns to a consumption shot of our main kid."
We also know that Weet-Bix is such a versatile food that it's not only for families and breakfast, but also something you can have on the go or as an office snack, no matter the time of day. So we moved our commercial into what seems to be a chaotic office; it must be the indlala (hunger) kicking in. To save the day, our lead appears out of nowhere, pushing a trolley of Weet-Bix, which she delivers to one of the office guys.

And what's a breakfast commercial without a breakfast scene at home? To conclude the journey, we settle into a home where our lead is enjoying breakfast time with her son. As she mic drops the biscuit into the breakfast bowl.
